12 simple DIY kid’s costumes
This is kind of last minute post for DIY kid’s costumes. Next week we will celebrate one of my favorite holidays – Purim. I think Purim it is the most fun and joyful holiday, when we celebrate salvation miracle and commanded to eat, drink and be merry. For kids – Purim is mostly about carnival, costumes and Mishloach manot – exchanging gifts of food with friends.
This year my 6 year daughter (Anna) decided to dress up as Elsa (from Frozen movie). I suggested her to dress up as Anna (after her real name), but she insisted on Elsa, explaining that she is Anna in real life, so at Purim she wants to be someone else. (I think she got a point here…). So we decided to dress my little girl as Anna and Anna as Elsa.
Looking for inspiration for the costumes I found some cute, simple and creative DIY kid’s costumes Ideas and tutorials. I rounded up here 12 costumes among which you can find something for every age. These DIY kid’s costumes could be also great for Halloween or just dress up and pretend fun.
