DIY marble dipped bottles
How to marble paint glass bottles
After seeing few beautiful marbled crafts on pinterest, I couldn’t wait to try it myself. I
love to make creative and affordable home decor crafts, and if possible I prefer it to be recycled.
This time I decided to try making marbled vases out of simple glass bottles I already
had at home.
How to marble paint glass bottles:
first I filled a baking pan with warm water. Then I added a nail polish by pouring it onto the surface of the water. After the water surface was covered with thin layer of nail polish, I quickly dipped and rotated the bottle to create the marble effect.
Then I removed the dyed bottle from the water and put it on a protected surface to
dry. After the bottle was dry I covered it with thin coat of ModPodge to protect it when washing.
I never tried to decorate with nail polish before, so I didnt know what to expect.
Surprisingly it turned out to be quite simple, inexpensive and very fun project. I think it could be fun DIY projects for kids and teens as well.
You can also make a set of marbled vases in different bright colors. They could be great addition to you home decor or creative gift for friends and family.
